NFL Week 6: DFS Picks | FanDuel DraftKings
What a week last week. We nailed the Deshaun Watson and Will Fuller stack plus Adam Thielen which definitely helped cash in on some games! It’s going to be hard to replicate Will Fuller’s week again but we have some good gems this week.
We have three games with total projected over 50 points: 49ers at Rams (50.0 Total), Falcons at Cardinals (52.0 Total) and Texans at Chiefs (55.0 Total). Two games this week you can look to avoid are the Redskins at Dolphins (41.0 Total) and the Titans at Broncos (39.0 Total).
NFL Week 6 brings us only 10 games on the main slate. Here is who you should look to build your lineups around:
Matt Ryan seems to like playing on the road scoring 23.6, 26.5 and 35.9 DKfpts and considering he’s playing against the 32nd ranked defence in the second highest Total game, its safe to say he’s a good start to build your lineup around. Lamar Jackson has cooled off drastically since his hot start to the season and a matchup against the 28th ranked Bengals should help regain his form. If you want some value going with Kirk Cousins or Gardner Minshew II isn’t a bad choice as they are both in favourable home matchups.
TOP PLAY: Matt Ryan
TOP VALUE: Gardner Minshew II
You’re going to want to keep an eye out for the injury report with Alvin Kamara, David Johnson, Todd Gurley, and Chris Carson all nursing injuries. IF any of them miss their game on Sunday you have to lock in their backup in your lineups. Mark Ingram II has the best matchup of the main backs against the 31st ranked Bengals, plus the Ravens are 11 point favourites so he should get his touches this game. Leonard Fournette is also another fine play and probably would be the most expensive back i’d consider this week.
TOP PLAY: Mark Ingram II
TOP VALUE: Starting Backups
As always, I stack my WR with my QB so you can go with Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, Marquise Brown, DJ Chark Jr, Dede Westbrook (Saints very susceptible against the slot), or Adam Thielen and then running it back on the other side with Larry Fitzgerald (Lock with Kirk out), Tyler Boyd, Michael Thomas or Alshon Jeffery. Outside of the main games I’m focusing on our projection models seems to like Tyler Lockett, Josh Gordon, and DeAndre Hopkins.
UPDATE: With Marquise Brown ruled out I’m locking in Mark Andrews. With Kirk out i’m locking in Fitzgerald.
The top end has great matchups with George Kittle, Austin Hooper, Will Dissly and Mark Andrews all in plus matchups. With Hollywood Brown out for the Ravens I’m locking in Andrews and with Hooper in a matchup too good to pass up, I’m locking in double TE’s this week. You can differentiate yourself and take some value with Jared Cook and Noah Fant.
TOP PLAY: Austin Hooper
TOP VALUE: Jared Cook
Taking the advice of football god, Rob Blackburn, you must play anybody against the Dolphins so you can go with the Washington Redskins. Ravens are always a good play if you have the salary.
Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, Austin Hooper + Larry Fitzgerald (ATL @ ARI)
This one is simple, your picking a high scoring game, players against a terrible pass defence, and bringing it back with a WR who would see double-digit targets because they are playing from behind. It’ll be popular but a gooder.
Gardner Minshew II, DJ Chark/Dede Westbrook + Michael Thomas (NO @ JAX)
A lower cost stack and a lesser owned stack that should help to set you apart from your peers and freeing up salary to target some WRs or TEs in favourable matchups.
Mark Ingram II and Ravens D (CIN @ BAL)
As the only double-digit spread this week this is a fantastic matchup to exploit. Mark Ingram II has the best matchup on the backs and Andy Dalton has a habit of turning the ball over. On paper, seems like a no brainer.
