NFL Week 12: DraftKings NFL Picks and Fanduel NFL Picks

This week features only one game with a projected total over 50 points: Buccaneers at Falcons (52.0 Total) so we might have our work cut out for us this week especially because there are five games with a projected total under 41 points: Jaguars at Titans, Lions at Redskins, Giants at Bears, Steelers at Bengals and Broncos at Bills.

As always, check back on Sunday and follow us on twitter @theDFSpost for updates closer to kickoff. With all that being said, here are our NFL Week 12 picks for the 11 game main slate as it stands right now:

QUARTERBACKS

JAMEIS WINSTON – TB @ atl
We know what we get from Winston. He’s going to throw picks but he’s also going to throw for over 300+ yards and at least 2 TD’s. What I look for when taking a QB is a 3x floor with at least a 4x upside. In two of his last four games he’s went 4x and both those games were on the road against defenses a lot better than the Falcons. This is the highest projected game on the slate and the Buc’s are underdogs so Winston is going to the throwing it a lot. Take the good with the bad.
BAKER MAYFIELD – CLE v mia
It appears, on the face of it, that Mayfield has struggled in three of his last four games.  However, those three games were against the Patriots, Broncos and Bills – all very low scoring games. Now he faces against the hapless Dolphins who’s been a favorite target all season long as they are pretty much last in most defensive categories.  He’s been priced up for the game but this can very easily be the best game of the year for Mayfield.

RUNNING BACKS
DERRICK HENRY – TEN v jax
A season long staple in Cash game lineups now has some GPP upside after two weeks of 24.9DKFP and 36.1DKFP. The Jaguars have been susceptible against the rush all season long but have been even worst over the last two weeks giving up the second most yards on the ground. It doesn’t hurt that they are three-point home favorites so expect a heavy dose of Henry this week.
CHRIS CARSON – SEA @ phi
Seattle is flying across the country in this matchup which usually has me staying away but the Eagles defense should allow plenty of production for Carson this week. You tend to beat the Eagles in the air so I’m hoping that the Seahawks get out to a lead and Carson is able to stay involved. It’s not going to be a ceiling game here but I’m hoping for another 25 touches this week and paying off 3x.
ALSO CONSIDER: Christian McCaffrey, Nick Chubb, Le’Veon Bell, David Montgomery, Ronald Jones II

WIDE RECEIVERS
I’m always a fan of stacking my WR’s with my QB’s so you’d be looking at MIKE EVANS or JARVIS LANDRY. You can also look at CALVIN RIDLEY, TYLER BOYD, DJ MOORE, or N’KEAL HARRY – all of whom have good matchups and see the lion-share of targets (Harry is one of the few healthy Patriots receivers).  These six will be my primary position player pool for this week.

TIGHT ENDS
ZACH ERTZ – PHI v sea
Tight End is rather tough this week and Ertz is the clear top pay-up option. He’s coming into this game in top form with back-to-back 11 target games plus Seattle is giving up the sixth most fantasy points to Tight Ends this year. If either Jeffrey or Agholor miss this game on Sunday then Ertz is a lock.
CAMERON BRATE – TB v atl
Last week was the game we were looking for when we wrote Brate up a few weeks ago. 14 Targets to the tune of 17.3 DKFPts. The matchup is great going up against the Falcon’s defense which ranks near the bottom on major passing categories so considering his price this week he’s a good play.

POTENTIAL LINEUP (DK)
QB
– Winston
RB – Carson
RB – Henry
WR – Evans
WR – Landry
WR – Harry
TE – Ertz
FLEX – Jones II
DST – Broncos
