NBA DFS Picks: Oct 26 (DraftKings FanDuel Yahoo)

Initial research has be preparing for two lineups tonight, pre-and-post Embiid injury news. The amount of talent and upside in the $9000-$7000 range is staggering and going with three in your lineup can payoff just as easy as paying up for a stud, especially if Embiid is out. If he is out you stack the 76ers and Drummond. If he is playing then you can skip the game as there are better plays elsewhere including paying up for James Harden. We got nine games tonight and here are our NBA DFS Picks for October 26.

THE STARTING FIVE: (pre Embiid news. If Embiid is out stack 76ers + Drummond)
UPDATE: Embiid is out and the biggest DFS beneficiary will be Tobias Harris. With Jrue Holiday injured for the Pelicans, Harden/Westbrook are fades due to blowout risk.

James Harden HOU v no (FD$11,500|DK$10,200)
It’s impressive that Harden can still drop 50FPts on a 2-13 shooting night. That’s why he is always one of the best pay-up players on a nightly basis. People will flock to Westbrook, who had a better night in their first game and is $1000 cheaper, however that’s a trap. Harden isn’t going to shoot 15% from the field tonight so all that production Westbrook got should shift to Harden. This game will have the highest total on the slate and Harden will deliver.

Nikola Vucevic ORL @ atl (FD$8,900|DK$8,300)
Expect Vuc to dominate against an Atlanta team that perennially ranks in the bottom of defensive efficiency overall and have been especially bad against opposing Centers. Alex Len gets the challenge tonight of slowing down Vuc so needless to say we’re expecting big things. Drummond carved them up on the October 24th and Vucevic will tonight to the tune of 6x and 50FPts.

Jayson Tatum BOS @ nyk (FD$7,500|DK$6,500)
Two game over-reaction but has Tatum finally taken “the leap” everybody has been waiting for? He’s been a monster early in the season and his price hasn’t been adjusted to anywhere near where it should be. He’s averaging a cool 46.1 FPPG (7x based on tonight’s salary) and his salary decreased $200 from last night (back-to-back). Perhaps a let-down is approaching as Kemba has been struggling but I’m willing to push it one more game against the Knicks.

Derrick Rose DET v phi (FD$5,700|DK$4,900)
Another player who should payoff at 7x tonight is Derrick Rose. That’s not too much of a bold statement considering Rose has been over 31FPts in both games this season. Another note in his favor is the fact Reggie Jackson is questionable for this game which solidifies the minutes and fantasy points floor of Rose. Eat the chalk.

PJ Tucker HOU v no (FD$4,600|DK$4,200)
Playing Tucker is never sexy but he has a few things going in his favor. (1) He’s pretty much a lock for 38 minutes a night. (2) Rockets and Pelicans have the highest total on the slate (3) He dropped 29 FPts in game one dropping 5 trey’s. The Rockets need his 3 and D expertise and he should chug his way along and get an easy 6x tonight.
