DraftKings NBA Picks and FanDuel NBA Picks – November 20

Happy Hump Day. Wednesday is here and we get a whopper of an eleven game slate after a snoozer of a four game slate. Nuggets, Spurs and Hornets all get boosts in their matchups whereas the 76ers and Raptors are getting paced down. Also, a few potential blowouts are projected with the 76ers, Bucks and Mavericks all double-digits favorites. Let’s get to it – here are our early look NBA DFS Picks for November 20.

Remember to check back before tip off for injury updates and follow us on Twitter @theDFSpost for further analysis throughout the day.

LUKA DONCIC – DAL v gs (FD$11,500 | DK$10,400)
Why stop playing Luka? Some might stay away due to the blowout risk but he still played 29 minutes when they beat the Grizzlies by 16 and he played 34 minutes when they beat the Cavaliers by 20. So, if the Mav’s are going to keep playing him I’m going to keep playing him. He’s a dominate player with 70 fantasy point upside each time he takes the court and he’s nearly averaging a triple-double. Lock him in an enjoy the 5x floor with 7x upside.

BRADLEY BEAL – WAS v sa (FD$9,900 | DK$9,500)
It’s hard not to like the best player on the team with the highest projected implied total. He is scoring at an astounding pace plus filling up the stat sheet with ease – over his last three games he’s averaged over 40PPG, close to 5 RPG and 8APG which works out to over 62DKFPPG.  The Wizards are 3-point home underdogs which means you can expect 40 minutes from Beal and he shouldn’t have any issues paying off this salary with a legitimate 7x upside. Needless to say, he’s a good play tonight.

BLAKE GRIFFIN – DET @ chi (FD$7,900 | DK$7,100)
I like this spot for Blake. He’s been working his way back from injury averaging nearly 35FPPG in the two games he’s played. His scoring has been there (he took 19 shots last game), as has his assists, now he gets to take on the worst rebounding team in basketball who is also dead-last in defensive efficiency against Power Forwards. Right now the Bulls are a 1-point home favorites so Griffin should see minutes into the 30’s and I’m expecting his best game of the season. Added bonus, he’s not going to have high ownership so you can sneak into an under-owned 6x play.

DRAYMOND GREEN – GS @ dal (FD$6,900 | DK$6,000)
ALEC BURKS – GS @ dal (FD$6,200 | DK$5,200)
In disclosure, I really don’t like playing Draymond Green. He’s shooting an abysmal 38% from the field this year but he gets all the peripherals that you need to get a decent floor. Last night he was two points short of a triple-double enroute to a 42DKFP game. Statistically it was his second best game of the year so I’m going to roll the dice and see if he can replicate that game again tonight as he’s getting more and more comfortable being the point guard. Alec Burks is someone else you can look at as the main scoring threat for the Warriors at a very reasonable price. The Mavericks are middle of the pack in a lot of defensive categories and Burks went 9x last night. You tend to want to shy away from shooters on back-to-backs but Burks should see the minutes even in a blowout.

ANTE ZIZIC – CLE @ mia (FD$3,500 | DK$3,400)
LARRY NANCE JR – CLE @ mia (FD$5,300 | DK$4,300)
You’re going to need some value today and with Tristan Thompson set to miss tonight game you can look at his replacement. If Larry Nance misses the game then you can lock in Ante Zizic but if he is healthy then you can play him with confidence. The matchup isn’t great but at these salaries they shouldn’t have an issue paying them off and Nance does have 7x upside if he gets minutes in the mid-20’s. At it stands right now one of these two will be in my lineups.

ALSO CONSIDER: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Karl-Anthony Towns, Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Tobias Harris, Fred VanVleet, Zach LaVine, Thomas Bryant, Draymond Green, Derrick Rose (revenge), Goran Dragic, Cody Zeller, Alec Burks, Spencer Dinwiddie
