NBA DFS Picks: November 14 (DraftKings FanDuel)
We have a beauty of a five-game slate tonight with the majority of the games projected to be over 225 points. Denver receives the biggest bump projecting to score 11 more points than their season-to-date average. Dallas is projected to score 10 less points than their season average. That gives us something to take advantage of for sure.
Remember to check back before tip off for injury updates and follow us on Twitter @theDFSpost. Let’s get to it – here are our NBA DFS Picks for November 14.
THE STARTING FIVE
Giannis Antetokounmpo – MIL v chi (FD$12,400|DK$)11,700
It’s hard to expect anything more from Giannis but with the injury to Middleton last game there is production that needs to be spread around. Bledsoe is a good play and Hill should get more offensive looks but the rotation is still remain to be seen. What the injury does for this game is lock in Giannis for another game of 60FPts. With Middleton off the floor Giannis receives a 0.29FPPM boost putting him at 2.16FPPM. He’s going to get his 30 minutes and the game is projected to be over 230 points – you can’t avoid how safe his floor it. He’s a cash game staple.
Will Barton – Den v bkn (FD$7,400|DK$6,600)
Paul Millsap – Den v bkn (FD$6,100|DK$5,600)
I’ve written up Barton a few times recently because he’s simply been so darn consistent. Over the last five games he has playing over 36 minutes and averaged over 39FPPG. Millsap is no slouch either playing over 30 minutes and averaging over 33FPPG. Tonight the Nuggets get a large total bump projecting to score over 11 more points than their season average. That makes me feel comfortable that these two’s floors are safe and 6x is in the realm of possibility.
Ricky Rubio – PHO v atl (FD$7,700|DK$7,400)
Rubio has definitely found himself a home in the desert. Not only is he surrounded by shooters but he’s also putting up over 14 shots a game. Last four games he’s averaged over 44DKFPPG and get a good matchup against a Hawks team that isn’t the best when it comes to defence. He should be a lock for a solid 6x outing.
If Brandon Ingram is out we get another game from some solid value pieces – Derrick Favors, Kenrich Williams, and JJ Redick all are very affordable and have scored over 31DKFP in one of their last two games. Pelicans play fast and the the Clippers are on game two of a back-to-back so expect some tired legs. It’s a no brainier to have one of these players in your lineups tonight.
